Barack Hussein Obama: Once a Muslim, Always A Muslim

Link to Debbie Schlussel

It is very obvious why Barack Obama does not want to admit he is Muslim.  It will cost him votes.  The media is trying to make a villain Romney because he is Mormon, imagine if Obama admitted to being Muslim.  There is also another reason.  For a Muslim to leave the faith is a death sentence in traditional Islam.

"But whoever of you recants and dies an unbeliever, his works shall come to nothing in this world and the next, and they are the  companions of the fire for ever" (Qur'an 2:217).  This is interpreted by traditional Muslims as giving the death penalty to apostates.  What would happen if we elect a President that millions of Muslims believe must be executed?

The LA Times prints that Obama spent two hours a week studying the Qu'ran many, many years ago, in Indonesia, no less, as a child, and you probably believe Schussel when she prints the absurd: "well, it's a fact, he's a praciticing Muslim.'

He is clearly a Christian, with nothing to disavow. Cut the crap.

Chelsea,
You have have not made your agruement as "clear" as you think you have. Schussel and others, if you read the referenced article and follow the links, do provide verifiable facts of actual events. Also, get a copy of the Qu'ran and study it yourself. Schussels assertion that once a Muslim always a Muslim cannot be denied based upon the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, himself.

I would think that for any child to study something for two hours per week it would have an impact on him. That is quite a structured regimen for a child to simply dismiss out of hand. I know my studies in Catholicism as a child were much less intense but they have a great influence on me now.

Also, why are you so defensive about him being a Muslim and try to push his Christianity? Why do you want him to be Christian? Shouldn't a person who is running for public office be who he is and not who we want him to be? That is what I take issue with. To worry about Mr. Obama being Muslim should be as silly as to worry about Mr. Rhomney being a Mormon. As long as Mr. Romney is true to what he is and honest and open about who he is there is nothing to fear. But seem to fear something about Mr. Obamas faith. Can I ask what that is? Why do you fear a Muslim president?

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I respect all opinions The thoughts and feelings of another person are never crap in my book.
